I start a new job on Monday. It's for a marketing agency that I've done a lot of work for in the past few years and I'm very excited about it. I will still work a few events/conventions/tradeshows, but only for the new company and mostly I'll be in the office doing staffing, planning and scheduling. As hard as it will be to say goodbye to the freedom of not having a "regular" job and getting to pick my own schedule, I'm really looking forward to a stable income (even if it is meager) and staying in the industry I've spent the last 6 years working in!!
It's been a few years since I've woken up and felt complete peace and happiness. Today, even though my knee hurts from awesome kickball games last night (2 huge wins!!!, I woke up feeling not only refreshed and ready to start the day but also happy with life. |
